Strenuous long weekend so far! On Friday, I finally went to Cologne to visit my grandma in hospital where she's been since April with pneumonia and a septic shock from said pneumonia. I've started reading Hunter S. Thompson's The Rum Diary today, but I think I'll save the rest of it for the long bus ride on Monday. It's not as humorous (in that nasty, biting and thoroughly enjoyable way of his) as the other books I've read by him, but very good nonetheless.
